Hi there. Developers of vecxiz made same mistake as xonotic devs. they forgot back compatibility with nexuiz and split community We continue to support old nexuiz client which still in main repos of many linux distros. Also afair vecxis last update was in 2015 year.
2. In the terminal, type: xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine "/path/to/Rexuiz.app" maybe will work with leading sudo Instead of typing the path to the .app, you can just drag and drop the .app from finder into the terminal
3. a. put the Rexuiz folder in your Application folder. b. right click on Rexuiz.app c. Click show package content d. go in Contents -> MacOS e. Open a terminal window f. drag and drop rexuiz-dprm-sdl in the terminal g. type enter h. the game should launch without error
4. Here is another bunch of possible solutions from other resource In the Finder, control-click the app icon, then choose Open from the shortcut menu. Click Open on the dialog. OR Use xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine "/path/to/Rexuiz.app" OR Move Rexuiz.app somewhere else and back using the Finder. P.S, We have very low testers amount with MacOS
Im beginning to love the crap oyya this game. I blew off mt Battlefield 1 & UT4 buddies today to play this. I havnt gone to multiplayer yet. Im trying to get use to the weapons.
Main Question still open. What Operation System you using? Is it Linux? which one? windows? 7,8, or 10? Or maybe its macOS or even Android? Version? Have you same issues with other 3d applications/programs/games?

i recently purchased a Ryzen 5 1600 and whenever i launch the game i makes the sound at launch but the screens remains black. this was not an issue with my Ryzen 3 1200. core count maybe?
It not connected with cores count. Looks like you have some kind of bug with GPU driver. What OS you using to play the game? If win: try to start game from cmd with one of .exe files supplied if linux: use console to start. there will be some start log in console. you can check it for possible error message.
you mean dedicated server? or just lan server for you and your friends? in first case there is a folder located in game archive called dedicated/ with dedicated binary files. and sample server config near. IP will be the external IP of your server\PC where you starting dedicated server. in second case you just can use multiplayer menu and subitem "create" where select game type, map, mutators like akimbo or minsta or rm, start weapons and all other things. for lan party check your IP in your network card|wi-fi adapter settings, depending youe connection type
Hi. Before saying it, try to download and check movement, which feels like quake. Check weapons, its have secondary fire, but no copies. Maps from ut99 made from scratch by community. And unreal was single player game with very poor multiplayer. But you`d better go to steam and say the same to pubg, fortnite and other royal games. because they all copied arma3 mod.
I see you have based your game on the Nexuiz. Not trying to sound rude, but how does this game differ from Xonotic, which unofficially is the successor to Nexuiz?

Sure. Trying to be polite too :) At first, thanks for your interest. Lets say, Rexuiz not trying to solve "problems", which never exist in Nexuiz. We also trying to keep the original gameplay of Nexuiz, not change balance of weapons or physics if its unnecessary.
this is just a copy of another game called "another game" which is much better then this edit:(as far as "another game" developers ban us everywhere, we do not allow to mention it here. hope for your understanding)
Rexuiz is a continuation of developement of Nexuiz Classic project which was, by the way, abandoned by "Another game" developers. They were asked many times to bring back Nexuiz Classic gameplay to their game but they refuse to do so, their motivation being imposing their own interpretation of what game balance should be and forcing what they called "pro duel gameplay". And it`s rather amusing hearing about how "Another game" is much better and how Rexuiz is "just a copy" of it while at the same time they are implementing features that have been presented in RocketMinsta Rexuiz|Nexuiz mod for years ago.

So this is another classic Nexuiz clone. Oh great now we have 3 Nexuiz successors aka Xonotic, Vecxis and Rexuiz.
And how is this different from Vecxiz? Both this and Vecxiz have same goals (preservation of nexuiz 2.5.2 gameplay) so why not u guys work together.

Check these possible solutions and please report which one helped you

Instead of typing the path to the .app, you can just drag and drop the .app from finder into the terminal

its the one archive for all operating systems. Just download zip file from direct link, unzip, and run it using Rexuiz.app

this game almost gave me a virus (i scanned it)
We not interested to make game with virus inside. Its clean, because it compiled on clean linux system/

This game based on it and mod RocketMinsta, but have mostly modern engine updates, large amount of bug fixes, and a lot of new features.
